Y2 Architecture was selected as the Principal Consultant for the Master Plan for the development of a community health and learning precinct on the former sites of Sebastopol College and Redan Primary School.

A community reference team [CRT] was set up to assist in the formulation the requirements for the two sites and the final master plan proposal.  The CRT comprised of representatives from the City of Ballarat, Ballarat Health Services, Department of Human Services, Child and Family Services and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.

Stage one of the five stage educational facility in the amount of $10 million is planned to commence on site later in 2012.  The dental training facility, maternal & child health facility are anticipated to commence detailed design in the first quarter of 2013.
